With over 30 yacht chefs competing in each competition, it gives us great inside knowledge and insight into each chef and crew onboard these charter yachts. We then pass this knowledge along to our charter clients enabling them to choose which yacht, crew and chef would suit them best for their yacht charter vacation. Chefs move from yacht to yacht and we follow their careers as they move forward in the charter industry.
Many chefs take specialized courses in their own vacations time to improve their skills and learn new methods and different types of cuisine, food is fashion and the conscientious charter chef wants to keep up on the latest trends.
At the Genoa Charter Yacht Show in May over 30 chefs competed in the “Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet Dinner Party” themed competition and at the Antigua Charter Yacht Show chefs will compete in the themed competition
“Christmas Lunch around the World” with a Caribbean Twist. It’s great fun putting on these competitions as the chefs are so keen, we have a team of professional judges including Michelin Star chefs and famous restaurateurs who have the very hard job of deciding who the winner will be.

a highly recommended charter crew… the next most important aspect of your Caribbean charter holiday is the food! We all love good food and your charter chef wants to get it just right…
Aboard our Caribbean charter yachts the chefs are highly trained and give a very personal experience to their guests whilst they enjoy their charter vacation. When chartering in the Caribbean the chef will use local and fresh tropical ingredients adapting them to suit the charter guest’s taste. With exciting dishes and beautiful presentation the chef aims to please his guests and wow them with his creations.
Charter guests are asked to fill out Food and Drinks Preference forms, which are then passed along to the chefs enabling them to create a menu around the client’s wishes and favorite dishes, but also watching dietary requirements and allergies. You will be guaranteed great food cooked to order around the information you have provided, this is why it’s very important to fill in those forms with as much information as you can, thus giving the chef a good idea of what you like and don’t like to eat and drink.
Beach BBQ’s and picnics, lunch on the sun deck, tea and cakes in the afternoon, cocktails and canapés every evening and dinner under the stars… Caribbean charter vacations at their best… fun and themed table settings brought to life by the crew who want to help make your sailing or motor yacht charter a memorable experience.
