Progress after the Hurricanes…

As many of you know the Caribbean suffered several major hurricanes over the last few weeks. We here in Antigua were right in the middle of the actions, but thankfully were not affected. Antigua sustained no damage whatsoever and is open for business as usual.
Likewise the Southern Caribbean has not been affected, from St Lucia toGrenada it’s business as usual and are looking forward to welcome all yachting guests this winter. The Southern Caribbean offers fabulous cruising and stunning scenery.

The islands that were affected are making a fast recovery, St Maarten both Dutch and French side have now moved from the emergency relief program to phase II of re building. St Barths announced that they will be fully operational by December 1st, all bars, restaurants and hotels will be open and ready to welcome guests.
Likewise the Virgin Islands now have electricity restored and are in the middle of clearing the rubble and starting to rebuild. Positive messages are coming from all the islands. Once the foliage grows back in another month and the debris is cleared the islands will once again look beautiful, the sea is still blue, the beaches are clean and welcoming and the anchorages are safe and have not been affected.
