Leaving Penobscot Bay behind we travel eastward through Jericho Bay into the Mt Desert Narrows.

Mount Desert Island, home of Acadia National Park, is a large 108 square miles / 280 km2 island with dramatic coastlines. Stunning shores, creeks and inlets makes cruising the island a delight. In the very south of the island you will find Bass Harbour Head lighthouse, a 1858 lighthouse tucked into the rocky shoreline.
